Metrics Streaming
We have now incorporated a new metric stream system that allows Mutiny to stream its polling data to other business intelligence systems at the end of each polling cycle. You can configure a standard Mutiny stream, based on the open metric standard or additionally stream to Service now Push metrics mid server.
This panel can be found at Admin>Metrics Exporters.
Signal History
Under the Events tab is a new Signal History table. This is a log of system and node events and will allow the tracking of actions taken by the users and the mutiny system itself.
In future, we will add the ability to alert on certain actions.
WinRM Direct Polling
Our new WinRM monitoring tools are now ready to use. These tools allow us to store credentials and make WinRM calls to Windows systems instead of using SNMP agents. We have developed standard polling adapters to match our SNMP adapters and new adapters and agents for uptime monitoring and specific Windows application monitoring.
To use these features, switch on WinRM support in diagnostics. We welcome suggestions for new agents like Administrator logon failure graphing etc.
Port Discovery Engine
We can now discover nodes directly by their open ports even if they do not respond to ping or SNMP, this is useful for hosted and locked down application servers.

Appliance Upgrade
We strongly recommend purchasing a new, up-to-date Mutiny Appliance. Our latest appliances come pre-installed with Alma EL8, offering optimal performance and reliability. The new appliance starts at £1,056 plus VAT and delivery.
If your current appliance is 3-7 years old, you can repurpose it as a Cold Standby appliance with a free cold standby licence. Contact support@mutiny.com for more details or to arrange an upgrade.
UI Development Kit
We now offer a UI Development Kit that allows customers and developers to design and implement their own Status Panels and Views. This kit includes sample code and instructions on how to upload your code into the Mutiny shared code space on the appliance. This is particularly useful for service providers using Mutiny's published views in their customer portals.
Adapter Development Kit
Alongside the new UI Development Kit, we offer an Adapter Development Kit. This kit allows vendors to create adapters that support new data collection methods and cycle analysers that collate and analyse data.
Features That Go Unnoticed
One useful agent that might have gone unnoticed is the list of installed virtual machines. This agent lists the deployed virtual machines.
